Rubbish lodged inside a metal garbage chute, showing a blockage

Get things moving again.

A blocked chute disrupts the whole building. We clear the obstruction, report what we find and discuss recurring issues that may need further attention.

Recurring issues? Our St Leonards case study shows fewer CALM unblocking call-outs after restrictor plates were installed. See Projects for the measured result and reporting period. Suitability and results vary by building.

What should I tell CALM?

For an urgent blockage, call 1300 462 256 with the building address, affected floors, when the issue began and access details. We’ll discuss the call-out and attendance arrangements.

Why does it keep blocking?

If a chute keeps blocking, we can assess whether misuse, worn components or equipment faults are contributing.

What happens after the visit?

Photo-based reporting explains what we found and any recommended repairs. Photo reports ready within 24 hours of service. Available on request and emailed with your invoice. Additional work is quoted for approval first.
